Principal's Message

Dear Brentwood Science Magnet Families,

 

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I hope you and your family enjoyed a restful, joyful, and rejuvenating summer. It is with great excitement that I welcome each of you back to Brentwood Science Magnet for another year of learning, growth, and achievement.

 

This year, our theme is "Go Big or Go Bigger!"

 

This theme challenges us to think boldly, dream confidently, and embrace every opportunity to learn and grow. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, in the arts, through STREAM exploration, or in service to others, we will encourage our students to give their best effort and strive for greatness in all they do.

 

At Brentwood Science Magnet, we believe that student success extends beyond academics. During the 2026–2027 school year, we will focus on developing the whole child by supporting growth in three important areas:

 

We will continue to provide engaging, rigorous instruction that inspires critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. Our teachers will challenge students to set ambitious goals and reach new levels of achievement.

 

Students will have opportunities to collaborate, communicate, and build meaningful relationships with their peers. We will continue to foster a welcoming and inclusive school community where every child feels valued, respected, and connected.

 

Through social-emotional learning, students will develop resilience, self-awareness, empathy, and responsible decision-making skills that will support their success in school and beyond.
